ABOUT THE VINEYARD BAKER
Bio:
Bread baking has always been in my life . As a child, I spent the summer with my grandmother in her little kitchen near the Hudson River in NY baking breads. Often waking to the sounds of clanging bowls or the squeak of the oven door and the warm sweet fragrance that perfumed the entire house. Down to the red vinyl kitchen stool I took my place watching and learning as she cultivated extraordinary Breads from ordinary ingredients. I returned home at the end of each summer and to my art classes at school where I would paint, draw, sculpt, glue & build. Later in life those two passions surfaced and inspired in creating a beautiful new and growing food trend for breads called Bread Art. I gratefully live and share the best of what I know and love, Bread and art .
